Play iTunes on Macro Execution?
« on: June 27, 2006, 07:48:57 PM »

Is there any way to launch iTunes AND trigger it to play using Macros?

I have tried the "launch windows program" but it doesn't seem to work.  Is there any trick to it?

Don't think so.

AHP has no ability to play anything but the sounds that come with it.

jackv: Try the free Addon x10dispatcher it will do alot that AHP can't  although you should be able to lanch your iTunes program you'd have to set Itunes to start playing on opening. If you can make a batch file which starts  iTunes  and plays a specific sound then just point to it with the macro.
Dan Lawrence: You can now do lots with AHP if you have all the plugins mind you can also do these with free addons too. eg: I can have it call my cell phone, when a macro is triggered!

I like the email feature. That way I can check and make sure the computer is still up and running AHP. I use my cell phone to call my phone controller which executes a macro sending an email to my cell phone. I also get an email after my power up reset macro runs.
