Locking up
« on: July 30, 2006, 11:35:58 AM »

My Active Home Pro application will not run without locking up after about an hour.  This started after the last update.  Does anyone know what is up with this?

Since your problem was none existant before your last update the problem is more than likely a corrupt AHX file the corruption can usualy be found if your willing to dig around in your setup if not then rebuild your AHX file from scratch.
Also try reverting to the older version and see if that fixes the problem. My money is on a corrupt file .I always recommend backing up your AHX files before updating them and store them in a save place.

I have just installed AHP and my software seems to be looping also.  I am a new user so I have no old software to try.  The looping seems to happen anytime and requires cancelling the program to stop it.

By "looping" do you mean that AHP locks up?

Any specfic error messages?

As Tuicemen said, it could be a corrupt .ahx file.  Use the report function to print out your timers and macros. Delete the .ahx file and recreate it.

Since AHP is a web download install it is easy to get corupted in the download if you don't have a clean connection! :(
You can find old versions of AHP A simple search using AHP UPDATE will turn up many versions! ;) :D
Or as Dan suggested redo your AHX file! just click on NEW under File
