General Discussion
« on: August 10, 2006, 11:24:25 PM »

I thought that this was a category where we could discuss anything.
BUT apparently that isn't the case.
I just read, "That 'X10 Vault' Popup Showing Up *EVERYWHERE* Is Certainly Annoying!" and I was unable to post a reply as the reply button isn't there.

YES IT DOES !!! If we could get you X10 folks to do away with the pop up ads that you have every blessed where.
A couple of times I got so disgusted that I did my X10 shopping elsewhere.

Take the Active I believe you erred in your post,  especially concerning Marko.
As steven r said "Marko was the first one, maybe the only one, to remove popups from his X10 pages. He's the only web programmer that X10 has that doesn't make his pages look like a pop up circus."

Maybe those annoying popups and flashy web pages increase sales to their target audience.  They just make me hit the Back button.  It would be nice if they offered an option to get the info without the "Vegas" flash.

Ok what does the fact that SpywareBlaster by default. Will not let me on the X10 Site?
I could even take one popup if a cookie said I had seen it and don't popup again.

I had to edit the host file I installed because it considered X10 to be so much of a nuisance it blocks X10 sites by default.
