x10 camera, have it hook up to my puter, the video works great,we left yesterday, put it on,came back, and wow i sat down for about two hours review the videos, perfect no problem, but this morning i saw the cat so i be a smarty butt decided to snap a pic,and when i went to my documents to see the pic it was terrible, the pixies were so distorted you couldnt make out nothing. I just dont understand if the videos come out perfect, why cant the pics.

How close was the cat to the camera?  The cameras are focused for distance and closeups will be fuzzy.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

I don't have the cam but I do know, if the image video is clear and is saved as a jpg or gif the image _may _ become blurry while saving. IF you have the option to save it as a bmp or png that might be better?? bmp files will not or at lest shouldn't become pixulated.

A couple of things to check !
1: under perferences click on still capture move the slide bar to highest Quality ;)
2: under perferences click on still general video  set the capture to  640X480 ;)
