Removing or taking a module out of service on the DS7000
« on: September 04, 2006, 03:17:49 PM »

I removed a Sensor from service but the DS7000 keeps showing the blinking red light where it used to be since it has not reported in within 4 hours. I read how to bypass a module that might not be functioning or is open (like  a window) but how do I clear the blinking red light on the DS7000 permanently?

The only way I know is:

  • Unplug the PS561 from the wall
    .
  • Disconnect the battery - Say some of your favorite choice words - Reconnect the battery
    .
  • Plug the PS561 into the wall - Re-enter all of your devices...  :-[
