The UM506 used in Cold Weather
« on: October 01, 2007, 12:33:17 PM »

Does anyone use the Universal Module, UM506, in cold weather? I have 2 units in a detached garage and when it gets down around 35 degrees the internal switch solenoid won't work or works every now and then?

I have tried 4 different modules and they all respond the same way. I may try using some type of light weight oil on the moving parts to lube the mechanical part of the switch, may work. Any other ideas for fixing this problem?  ???
