Hi:
I've been using a CM11A and have experienced and documented several of its 'failure features'...(e.g. total lockup, pc-cm11a communication lockup, dropping commands, etc.). Seems like the engineer(s) released a half-baked product (or worse - but I won't elaborate). I have questions wrt the cm15a vs the cm11a:
1) Do the failures of the cm11 referenced above still exist in the cm15a? (the fact that is is USB communications does not automatically mean that the communication problems have been solved)
2.) What failure modes (if any) does the cm15a have?
3.) Has a version of the cm11a ever been released that solves the above referenced problems? if so, how do I tell a 'new' version from the 'old' version?
I am assuming that the PC software (Home Automation) that communicates to the CM11A is working OK - if this is a bad assumption, has the software been updated? Version number? I am using the version that is currently on the X10 site as the latest (to bad they didn't put a release date on it...)
The frankness of your answers is appreciated.
Thanks
John
