Two X10 remotes in one house
« on: January 04, 2007, 04:45:28 AM »

Hi All,

I got a question and I hope you can help me out.
I have recently bought the X10 based remote (6-in-1 learning) and was pretty happy to find out, that I can easily steer my desktop PC wireless.
Two weeks later I've received a call from my neighbor, who says, that his multimedia-TV-PC also reacts to my remote, so I mustn't use it's wireless function anymore (the last owner loses anyway :))
Pretty bad, I know, I'm using X10 and USB receiver and software, they're using their remote and kinda black box of TV-PC, that they can't configure. Surely, I can't blame them, as they got no other possibility to steer that device and I can't say "your problem" either ;D.
Is there any solution to that problem, software or hardware, frequency changes or something else?

Thanks!
