A quick check of the manual shows that one white and the black go to your power in.  The other white and the blue go to the floodlights (whites common and the switched blue to the floodlight blacks).

...I feel stupid....
Not "stupid" just "ignorant" of something new. We've all been there and even the best of us still are ignorant of some things.
Now closer to "stupid" was when I failed to push the ground wires out of the way when I installed a switch the other day. The spark from a live switch to ground tripped the breaker faster than had turned it back on.

Steven,
That wasn't stupid.  You were just performing a test to ensure that the wire gauge was sufficient for the installed breaker.  You can now sleep soundly at night.

I have had the particular displeasure of knowing a few people that have never made a mistake - they've never done anything

I refer to them as critics.

I like your perspective. I'll have to remember that.

OK, we're getting further and further off thread...but I can't resist.

With a Wife (25 years), 3 kids, a cat, 2 birds and a fish I rank... I'd like to think I've got a leg up on the fish (pun intended), but the birds are tough competition.

Probably why I spend most of my time in the garage and basement tinkering.

Hey, what the heck.  The OP is happy and that's what counts!

I think going OT sometimes just helps people realize that we are people too and we have a fun side!

Makes the board a little less "dry" and a little more friendly.   :D

Sorry, but I gotta go with this.

Dogs have masters, Cats have staff.

If you call a dog, he comes running with excitement. You call a cat and you get a look that says "Have your people get with my people...."
"This aftershave makes me look fat"
