When you manually  use AHP (use the mouse to click on the lamp module) to turn on the lamp, does it go on?

What are you using to control the lamp? Is it a lamp module?

Is the CM15 the only transceiver you are using?

The OP, malpert posted ActiveHome in the title.

Is he using Active Home and the CM11A or Active Home Pro and the CM15A?

So since he has been using it since 2006! Try unpluging the CM15 remove the batteries and then plug it all back it and reload the ahx file.

Ok I'll resurrect this thread. I too am experiencing the same scenario. I've recently went from ActiveHome to ActiveHomePro. I am running version 3.236, windows xp sp3, 500 gig hard drive, 1250m ram. I can control lights(two of them), one incandescent and a Lava Light, both are on old lm465 modules. I have all plugins and all are registered.
Problem: I can control both lights with about 98% reliability by remote control but not at all with AHP. No timers, no macros not even by software. I have five cameras with 3 ninjas and all function without fail.
I have the cm15a set to not tranceive as there is a rr501 in the same room as the light modules. I also have a tm751 in the garage which is detached  and on its own subpanel. The garage camera works perfectly(switching). I have checked and double checked so don't start with HCUC. I have also double checked the software configuration and all matches.
I suspect something in my pc security?
I use CA Internet Security Suite:
CA PERSONAL FIREWALL
CA ANTIVIRUS
CA ANTISPYWARE
CA ANTISPAM
ANY suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Keith

Raster- Did it work before you went to 3.236?  If so revert to 3.228.  Uninstaling is a bit of a task, but the directions are here in multiple places.

You say, "...not with AHP" - and I re-ask the question - If your LM465 is set to L1, and the LM465 in AHP is addressed as L1, if you mouse click on the AHP module L1, does the lamp turn on and off?  If you use a PalmPad and press L1, does the light go on & off?  During both of those experiments, what shows up in the Activity Monitor?

Try two experiments:

1. Plug the RR501 into the same AC outlet or plugstrip as the CM15A is plugged into.  Can you still control the lights with the RR501?

2. With the RR501 back in its original location, take a long extension cord and use it to connect the CM15A into several different AC outlets, including at least one in a different room.  Can you control the lights with AHP in any of the outlets you try?

Today it doesn't work.

Pajama Guy: I never had 3.228. Only the old cm11a with "ActiveHome". Until windows XP, yes "ActiveHome" did work.
LM465 works with palmpad. does not respond to anything I do within AHP software. Because I never had 3.228 can I still get it?

Charles: Great suggestions. I'll try that this evening when at home and let you know the results.

Dan,
The old cm11a is in a box now! the new cm15a is the issue.

PajamaGuy,
The activity log shows all rf commands received from the palmpad, it only shows c2 without the RF transmit when clicking the module in AHP

OK. Results:
Experiment 1; with the RR501 and the cm15a in the same outlet ALL lights and remote functions back. until... I plug in the power strip which the wife uses for the cell phone charger and the cordless phone base and the Wii gaming system and the honeywell hepa filter. so off to get some filters.

Experiment 2. now with the afore mentioned power strip removed from the outlet and the RR501 back in its original location and the cm15a on an extension cord with an USB extender, positioned high up in the room on top of a cabinet, seems I have all AHP switching functions under control until... the TM751 receives a RF command from the Palmpad remote.
So I removed both the TM751 and the RR501 from their outlets. Range issue with the cm15a so I then installed the RR501 in the garage where the TM751 used to be. now things are improving. not only is WAF up from about a .4 to at least a 1 and looking better.Thank You for your help.

Maybe tomorrow I'll learn how to post messages in a forum B:(
