Hey there, new guy here. have had X-10 for about 15 years or more with very little trouble other then some of the little quirks. But just had a meltdown of most of my system. While looking for info on the web I came across this site and must say there is a wealth of info here, much more then I realized there was about X-10. Hopefully I can find my answers here. I hate turning my lights on manually.

Welcome gator13!!!   ;D  Yes there is a ton of info here!  Welcome to the forum!  And have fun.  These guys are a bunch of brain crunchers.  If you can't solve your problem here than it can't be fixed!

I can not seem to find clothes in my closet unless I pull this funny little chain thingy.

No-no,  No Motionbulb!

The chain thingy is important to my personal exercise program....

I do an arm lift when I use it,  and I do an arm lift and a sit-up when the morning alarm goes off.

Well I can understand using other brands of HA equipment... but you should consult with your doctor before committing to such a rigorous exercise program.
