If its an existing 3-way or whatever, the traveler wires will already be there. They may be yellow, or red, or?

If you are creating a 3-way or more you will use one master type switch, and the other switches will be the XPT transmitter bases.

Oh, man. Here's the PDF install guide for the WS13A. Follow this and you should be good.

ftp://ftp.x10.com/pub/manuals/ws13a-is.pdf

If you currently have a working setup in your house right now where 2 switches control the same light then all wires you need are present.

no the existing switches meaning the regular light switches, one shares a light outside, the other two; one controls the hallway, and the other another outside light

I meant if you are creating a 'new' 3-way setup versus existing 3-way setup....as in one that had not existed before and no traveler wires are in place.
