I have an extensive gigabit network at home and multiple HTPCs. I keep my desktop machine on most of the time, but the HTPCs are put to sleep. A couple of them have wall mounted touchscreens. The desktop PC is where I run AHP and have a CM19 connected.
I was wondering if I could run further copies of AHP on the HTPCs around the house, with additional CM19s or similar of course. Would they play nice with one another? If I used one to control a device, or run a macro, would the other instances of AHP be able to monitor the status of the wall switches, appliance modules etc.? It would be great to be able to control the whole house from a touchscreen. However, it would be of little utility on a day to day basis unless multiple instances of AHP could run in the house, because the PCs connected to the touchscreens are off/asleep >95% of the time.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
[edit] I should add that I don't mean to violate any licencing concerns, so that if the above would work and required multiple purchases of AHP, that's exactly what I would do.
