Slow RF
« on: March 04, 2013, 07:47:30 PM »

I have x10 throughout my house. Powerline  signalling is fine. Radio Frequency was perfect as well. All of a sudden it has got a 3-4 second delay between signal and response. I am using the WGL W800USB RF through my computer. Any ideas?

Did you recently add something such as cordless phones, or any thing similar that might interfere with the RF signal.  Also what about batteries in the remotes are they weak?

What software are you using? I am using W800USB with Homeseer and the ACRF-2 plug-in. It suddenly got slower although not as slow as 3-4 seconds (maybe 2 seconds when the norm was an eye blink more than a second).

It got better after I disconnected power to the W800USB for 10 seconds and then rebooted Homeseer.
