Is battery the only power option for these
cameras?

I assume you are referring to the wireless
models? They also can use AC/DC power
adapters. So far all my wireless cams have
come with them included.

Mine also came with an X10 addressable AC
Power Cube. The battery packs where an extra
item, sometime during a sale free battery
packs.

Anyone know of cameras that can be
powered through their video cable?

X10 has a few. Power and Video go through a
wired cable. Anaconda; Nightwatch2 and Xcam
Anywhere where three I saw on a quick look
at the cameras web page.

I doubt it as they have a 60 foot cable
attached. It splits at the supply end into a
Video out and a power supply connectors.
Note that wired cameras have a composite
video output that goes directly into a
monitor or video switching box.
