I just signed up for your contractor
program as an installer (electrician). Am I
to be listed on your web site as a source
for customers to contact?

Kelly

John,
Congratulations and welcome to the X10
Contractor Program!
This program is free and signing up takes
only minutes. But knowing what kind of
contractor you are is different from listing
your business on the X10 Installer Search.
This program costs $12 a year and takes 24
hours to process your registration.
Copy/paste the url below to get to the sign-
up page:

Kelly,
I went to the url you indicated in your 1st
message, completed all the information,
clicked submit, and then a message appeared
which said "this page cannot be displayed".
I tried it twice. Please advise. Thank you

Kelly,

I signed up for the Contractor program a
couple of weeks ago. Whenever I type in my
information, I get in, but it tells me that I
am not logged in:"You Are Not Logged In.
Please Click Here To Sign In."
Also, I tried to sign up for the Installer
program, but after I entered all the
information I went back to add my URL and
when I clicked on "Continue" again it told me
the information was already in the database.
I haven't paid the $12 fee yet, but I can't
go back and pay it now as the system won't
let me. Is there a number I can call to talk
to someone?
Thanks,

JTA,
IntelliHouse Solutions

Hi Kelly,
It worked. Thanks. I'm assuming now that my
name will be listed as an installer on your
web site. Question, why do they charge
shipping for this? What are they shipping?

Kelly,
I just checked the 'find an installer' for
my zip code and my company name did not
appear. Will it ever? Please advise. Thanks

Kelly Parke | Program Manager

John Hester,
I have entered your zip code and your
company comes up. Please try it again.

Kelly,
I need your help. As you know, I just
recently signed up for your contractor's
program, and have paid my $12 fee to be
listed (which I am). I have already
received 2 calls, both approximately 60
miles away. My problem is that I have yet
to receive any formal training on the
product line, so I declined both because
they were so far away, and I am not yet
knowledgeable in the solution/products. I
felt that if there were problems they would
be magnified because of the distance
involved. This is not my goal to turn down
this new business, but I do not have the
confidence/comfort level that I need to go
that far. I have ordered a design manual,
which apparently won't be available until
October, and have talked to the factory guy
in California who won't help. I tried to
call Brian at 800 675 3044 x 2616 (Seattle
X10 office) to get his input. The phone
system must be broken, because I could
never get through.
Bottom line: I need some training, and I
need it right away. How about a 2 day
formal hands on training class somewhere?
Please advise. Thanks
John Hester

I hold the same opinion as John.

I signed up for the Installer Program and
paid my fee. It's about a week now, I have
not been listed.
