[TTA TIP] 7-Outlet Side-by-Side Power Strips
« on: August 09, 2006, 05:11:16 PM »

I was *SERIOUSLY* distressed (and DEPRESSED  :(  :'( ) when Target-NJ (left in photo) stopped carrying the '7-Outlet Side-by-Side Power Strips'.

I mean, *WHY* in the world would they stop carrying such a *USEFUL* item?!?  :o ???

Luckily, I had a few "spares" (not in the icebox, though...) until (IIRC, a couple of years later) I recently found another version at
WalMart-NJ (right in photo).

I mean, come on, look how PERFECT they are!  :-* :D   :)

If you also use these strips *AND* you know of a CURRENT supplier, please add your information (i.e. Store / State) to this thread.

Thanks!!! :D   :)

I got a 6-outlet side-by-side strip at Lowe's a while back.  The two outlets at either end are spaced far enough from the adjacent outlets for transformers or X10 components.  However it was fairly pricey as these strips go, and knowing Lowe's they're likely also to have discontinued them.

But I really need to do more about organizing my setup like yours - right now I have four of the Lowe's el-cheapo "ordinary" power strips daisy-chained and/or "treed" together and spread out on the floor under my desk. :-)

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

TakeThe Active; Seems everything we like gets discontinued. At my favorite grocery store, all I have to do is like something and boom it is gone. :'(
