Crappy signal... need help
« on: June 07, 2012, 02:55:53 PM »

B:( I am a newb to x10 camera systems.  I just bought a 6 cam wireless system but have been running into issues. My house is a single story brick house @ 2000 sq ft -/+. I noticed that my signal was VERY weak trying to get it through the brick so I installed my receivers outside and the signals are still pretty poor. Does anyone have any advice as to what the max distance for wireless x10 cams are and what I can do to improve the signal?  I have 4 cameras pointed along my driveway in different directions and 2 on my storage shed that is less than 50 ft from the nearest receiver. The ones on the house are only 20 ft from my main receiver. Here is a picture of the layout. I can see the ones on the house but they are VERY fuzzy while the ones on the storage shed are very distorted.

You are switching them On and Off so only one is on at a time? More than one On at a time can interfere with each other.
Are they the Pro Line of the cameras or the 2.4GHz ones?
